I've had a camera in my hand since I was 8. I can't remember a time when I wasn't shooting photos or video of SOMETHING! And I can't imagine doing anything else. With a bachelor's degree in Media Production, over 20 years experience in photography, over 15 years experience in video, and the license and insurance to fly drones commercially, I love tackling projects that challenge my creative ability!
To support my creative mind, I have a deep appreciation for coffee! Fresh roasted, single origin, delightful coffee. It's not an addiction...I could quit any time. But why...?
I am a family guy. My beautiful wife and adorable kids are a huge reason for me running this business. The 9-5 office just doesn't cut it for us. I want to be with them while they grow and teach them along the way. And for me, that looks like creating amazing content for you while I'm able to share my time with my family.
Jesus Christ is my Savior, and I do all things for His glory. That means that whatever work I do for you, I'm doing it to please Him. I'll do it to the very best of my ability!
Here’s a snapshot of me; I’m 29 years old, 5’8”, with curly blonde hair and blue eyes. I’m built thin and short. The upside is jumping high and moving fast, so volleyball, soccer, and running have been parts of my life for a while.
I’m married to the best girl in the world and have three beautiful kids. It’s hard to describe me without describing her; we’re one after all. My wife loves to go on adventures and to make people smile. She’s a professional artist, and she’s a little crazy about sushi and dogs. We live in rural Missouri on a few acres with our 3 kids and dogs, Trigger and Kaya.
Our family has spent the last 5+ years working with troubled teens at Whetstone Boys Ranch. “It’s hard, but it’s good” has been a motto the entire time. But now, it’s time for me to draw in and spend more time pouring into my own kids. This is where Shadowpoint Media comes in; remote work with my brother doing what I love? Yes, please.
My heart sings for Jesus, sunny days, walks with my dog Cliff, and life with my high-school sweetheart, my other half. We spent the first year and a half of our marriage hopping around for my husband's job, living in Savannah, GA, Pensacola, FL, and Panama City, FL.
Despite our travels, we call Talladega, AL home, where we have a quaint 70s ranch-style house in the country. We spend nearly every weekend on a new project. Whether it be ripping down apple-themed wallpaper, painting over purple walls, or redoing cabinets, watching it become the little haven of our dreams is beyond worth it.
From a young age, I've been drawn to creating, a drive that's influenced my career. With a bachelor's degree in digital marketing, I'm dedicated to developing content that highlights business narratives. Marketing goes beyond just closing sales; it's about connecting real needs with real solutions. As a believer, I feel we are called to approach our endeavors with a service mindset, putting our hearts into the work we do for others.
I am an Arizona native who loves the outdoors with a special fondness of the ocean. Appreciating the vast beauty of the world around me helps me quiet my soul and truly live life to the fullest. I am very enthusiastic about music, and whenever I am asked “what music do you listen to?” my response is simply, “YES”. In addition to my love for listening to music, I also love exercising my childhood passion of playing the piano. I am also a volleyball lover, so I spend a lot of time on an indoor or outdoor court. Spending time in the outdoors, playing volleyball, and music are a few crucial ways that I express my creative being.
I had the tremendous blessing of attending college and after many late nights, way too much coffee, and whole lot of fun I successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Graphic Design. I am grateful for my skillset as I continue to further my creative skills, specifically photography, here at Shadowpoint.
Most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus and I aim to live my life to glorify him! I love people, so my goal is to live joyfully and to share that joy with others. Life is precious, so I want to live every moment, whether big or small, to the fullest by walking in love and joy!
My family moved to Tucson in 1989, when I was seven years old. Ever since then, I’ve been blessed by the church community here which has provided meaningful relationships both personally and professionally. These relationships have produced so much fruit in my life! I met my wife here and we were married in March, 2010. We have two beautiful children who have a natural talent for making us beam with pride and constantly worry at the same time. I love living this life to the fullest and hope that in some way, I can help others live abundantly too.
I’ve always enjoyed helping businesses find ways to grow. When I started Wapiti in 2013 under its first name, Brand Shouter, my entire focus was that – helping small and medium businesses find the growth they need.
Prior to starting Wapiti, I owned a coffee roasting company north of Seattle, WA. My team grew the company from a small business serving about 60 customers a month to a full-fledged coffee roasting company shipping over 12,000 lbs. of roasted coffee each month. It was in that role, that I discovered my other passion – recurring revenue. Wapiti is a marriage of those two passions – helping businesses grow through eCommerce and recurring revenue.
My family consists of my wife of nearly 20 years and 4 amazing kids (aka future Wapiti herd members). Christ is my focus and my faith guides my decision-making process and rabid focus on customer satisfaction. I’m always happy to grab a cup of coffee and chat with anyone about business, family, and faith.
